PictureBach's manuscript to the Eb minor prelude, book I
What is the relationship between the prelude and the fugue? Usually, when we hear a prelude and fugue from Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier, there is a short pause between the two. In these three seconds, worlds can shift in almost any sense imaginable, except the tonic note. I have taken those three seconds and stretched them into a ten-minute interlude. This piece is my attempt at an emotional screen print of Bach's extraordinary piece.
